Whatcha making dear? Uh... I don't know.

My hubby asked me what I was making... my answer was - I don't know. :) Practicing my knitting. Seems I'm English style, not continental. I think that comes from crocheting soo much. At this point I'm just getting down tensioning and the knit stitch. I apparantly cast on too tightly, so row was was crap (especially as I was knitting in the tail end). It also took me a while, but row 2 wasn't too shabby. Much easier to knit and hopefully fixed a few small mistakes. We will see what row 3 looks like.. If I get to row 5 and all is well, then I'll practice the knit stitch. I turned my music on and just relaxed. It's interesting how crotcheting, yoga, and knitting actually shut my mind down. No errant thoughts rattling around - just a calm.. (ok mostly calm) state. Usually my mind is processing and thinking a lot - I teach entire lessons while trying to get to sleep... it's crazy! So yea...I'm making "something"
